It’s the last weekend of March Madness. Just three more games, and we’ll be wrapping up the college basketball season. But we’ve got plenty of action before we get there, and Saturday night gives us an excellent shot at some. The Gonzaga Bulldogs take on the South Carolina Gamecocks in a matchup of two teams in their first Final Four.
Gonzaga has battled its way to the Final Four behind one of the deepest and most talented frontlines in the sport. Seven-foot-1 Przemek Karnowski has been having an excellent tournament, and his ability to score in the post and pass out of double teams forms the basis for the Bulldogs’ post-centric attack. And his backup is McDonald’s All-American Zach Collins, an arguably more versatile talent who may be bound for the NBA lottery after this year.
